Shutter Card by Crafters Companion

Hello!!!  I'm back today sharing another type of card created with the new Shutter Card Die Set that will be available during the May 9th HSN showing of Crafters Companion. Woot woot!  As you saw in my previous post with the Circle Centre Die set, these cards are ultra fancy, fun and interactive!  Check it out...

Once again these dies literally do all of the work for you!  All you have to do is run it through your die cut machine, assemble and embellish!  LOVE it!  Plus this luscious gold cardstock shown on here will also be available on the MAY 9th HSN show.  This cardstock is called Luxury Cardstock and comes in several different colors, each pack contains shiny foil, matte foil, and glitter cardstocks that cut beautifully!

Make sure you mark your calendars to catch the show and get your shopping on!

Watercolor Coloring Books Make For Easy Cards!

Hi!  Today I'm popping in to share a fun and totally chic flamingo that I've watercolored from my ADORNit Art Play Coloring Book called Fancy Flamingo...

I just love how easy this was to put together on a cardbase.  I also love that the coloring books by ADORNit are on watercolor paper making it super easy to color and add a little water to watch the colors spread.  I've also used the super cute Birds of a Feather Patterned paper by ADORNit... this collection is so fun and screams summer!
Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

Woo hoo!  We are still hopping all month long with STAMPlorations and the Things With Wings Blog Hop, and this is the last week for you to join us, so make sure you hop around for your chance to win some goodies as well as be inspired!  And if you go to the end of this post you will find a discount code you can use to save 20% off of your total!  (This is an additional 20% to any current promotion happening, score!!!)

Now for my project for today's hop...

To create this card I used a fun mix of STAMPlorations newest products and various patterned papers.  I started by running my Spring Flower Layering Dies and Hello Sunshine Phrase Die through my die cutter, and then layered them together.  Since my sentiment was on busy paper I used a black thin pen to outline parts of the letters to help it stand out.  The butterfly was stamped from the Flutter Zen Row Stamp Set onto separate cardstock where it was colored before being cut out.  I adhered this to my flower and added sequins and twine to finish my card off.
