Two For One!

Happy Friday!!!
And yay for the long weekend!  A little while ago I had seen this tutorial (for diecut inlays as she so aptly named them) by the Queen of Cardmaking Jennifer McGuire and I was absolutely in love with the outcome that I had to make one myself.  For my cards I used a double inlay to make it a little different, and I LOVE the results...

I love how you can get two cards from one technique too!  Double score!  My colors were inspired by the Mama Elephant Photo Inspiration Challenge:

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Mama Elephant Bling Stamp Set
Dies: My Favorite Things
Sequins: V's Sweet Ideas
Rhinestones: TPC
Stickles
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black and Watermark Ink Pad
Black Sparkly Embossing Powder
Glue Stick: Xyron
Glossy Accents
Black Ribbon

*I am also entering this into the Simon Says Stamp: Anything Goes Challenge
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have an amazing weekend!

The One and Only PTI Card...

So I was only able to squeeze in one card for all of the fun that was had on their blog with stamp-a-fair... such is life sometimes!  But I did enjoy watching all of the videos and seeing what all of you had made!  Amazing inspiration for sure!  So I played with the sugar coated challenge!  Mainly because I just love all things shiny so I couldn't pass it up!

I was so bummed that you can't really see the sparkle and shine in my photos, but no matter how I seemed to take the photo it just wouldn't show up as it does in person! boooo!

Supplies Used:
Stamps: PTI (Garden of Life and Natural Beauties)
Ink: PTI and Shades Ink Spots
Glitter
Glossy Accents

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great start to your week!

New Artsy Fartsy Stamps from SweetStamps.com and weekly challenge!

I just love new stamps, don't you?  Recently I received a few sets of the newest Artsy Fartsy Stamps (which are on sale I might add), and I am tickled pink that they are now in clear stamp form!!!!  yay!!!  Don't get me wrong I love all types of stamps, but clear are my favorite and these new stamps just have me dancing in my chair thinking about them.  Anywho, today is a new challenge at SweetStamps.com and it is a favorite: ANYTHING GOES!!!  yay!!!!    What can you win? How about a $20 shopping spree where you could pick up some of these new stamps for yourself among so many other crafting goodies!  How can you play?  You can use anything and this week make anything... really, I don't think it can get any easier than this folks!  And if you use a SweetStamps.com image or diecut you get a double entry!!!

Here is my take on the anything goes challenge:

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Artsy Fartsy (Fireworks and Funky Flowers 2-Step)   (Best Wishes Sentiment)
Inks: Shades Ink Spots
String from my stash

And I just have to add I LOVE the Shades Ink Spots... they stamp so clearly, clean off easily with out staining, and I love the variety of colors... so if you are in the market for some new inks I highly recommend these!

Can't wait to see your creations... remember ANYTHING GOES... literally!

Seize The Cupcake! And in 10 minutes too!

Yay!  I am finally able to post some crafty goodness!!!  I have been wanting to play so badly with the 10 Minute Craft Dash Birthday Bash Challenge, but just wasn't finding the time to squeeze it in!  But fear no more, I DID IT!!!!  I had just gotten this cute cupcake stamp set from Verve and knew that the 10 Minute Birthday Challenge would be perfect to use it on, and so I did:

Time: 9 minutes 43 seconds ( I know I just barely made it!  And I should have been done sooner, but I wanted to pull out the sequins at the last minute and ended up just dumping them all over the table so I could find the colors I wanted hehehehe!)

Supplies:
Stamps: Verve
Ink: Memento and Shades Inkspots
Copics and Sharpies
Sequins: V's Sweet Ideas
Washi: Darcie's
Stickles

Hope you are having a fabulous week so far!  I'm so excited to be going to Archiver's tomorrow, so hopefully I will get lots done!!!

SweetStamps.com Monthly Technique Challnge: Masking

Happy Wednesday!  It's that wonderful time of the month again where we play along with the month long technique challenge at SweetStamps.com, and this month the technique is: Masking!  I love masking on my projects, so this was fun for me!  I wanted to make a clean simple card that really shows the beauty of this technique...

Supplies Used:
Stamp: Artsy Fartsy Bicycle with Flower Basket
Inks: SweetStamps.com Shades Ink Spots
Post It Note
White Ribbon
Corner Chomper

To begin I stamped my bicycle in black on the bottom left, and then I stamped it again on a post it note.  I then fussy cut the image out of the post it note and used this as my mask for stamping the rest of the bikes!  I like having blank cards sometimes so they can be used for any occasion!  Can't wait to see what you'll make for this challenge!

Bling Challenge at SweetStamps.com

I just love a good bling challenge and I was totally stoked when I saw this one on the schedule at SweetStamps.com... but rather than over power my card with rhinestones galore (and mark my words there is nothing wrong with that if you do hehehehe) I chose to use them as little accents in this card I have created:

Supplies Used:
Patterned Paper: Fancy Pants Hopscotch Collection (flowers) Crate Paper (text)
Stamp: SweetStamps.com Thank you Sentiment
Ink: SweetStamps.com Shades Ink
Dies: SweetStamps.com Betty's Bloom, Fancy Leaves, Pretty Petals
Rhinestones: KaiserCraft

How can you play?  Just use any product you own and create something based on Bling!  If you use a SweetStamps.com Image you will get a double entry... and what can you win?  How about a $20 shopping spree to their store?!  Woo hoo!  Papers, Stamps, and Inks Oh my!

Happy Crafting and check back tomorrow to see what the monthly challenge will be too!
