STAMPlorations Birthday Blog Hop

Woo hoo!  It is time to party my friends!!!  Welcome to Day #3 of this fun Blog Hop with STAMPlorations!  I have only joined the STAMPlorations family within the last year, but I must say that from the moment I joined I felt like I belonged and that I was one of this talented family.  And now I get to celebrate their 4th Birthday by sharing some cards made with a few of the amazing new products that are available now!

For this first card I've used the Star Shaker Balloon Die along with the Balloons and Banners Stamp Set.  I was so excited with I saw this die set and how it work.  I love the intricacy to it, and that it matches the Banners Stamp Set perfectly.

And I have one more card to share with a little more of a masculine feel...

STAMPlorations has released several new word and die sets and the kudos one seemed perfect for this occasion.  I stamped the sentiment first with versa fine ink onto the cardbase.  Next I stamped it again over the left over star die cut from the first card.  I popped the star up with foam adhesive.  The confetti was first stamped with white pigment ink, and it was gone over with bright colored dye ink.  The frame came from my scrap stash, and I thought it added a nice touch.

A Rainbow of Coffee

Hello!  I'm here today with a just for fun card based on a few challenges! :)  If you hadn't seen yet the Summer Coffee Lovers Hop is going on now until June 30th, and I just had to play along...

To create this card I was inspired by the Simply Irresistible Challenge focusing on the Emboss Resist Technique.  I started by stamping and embossing this coffee cup by Mint Owl Studio in a Sparkly White Embossing Powder.  At first I had thought about watercoloring over the image, but then when I opened up one of my drawers I came across one of my chalk circular ink pads and decided to simply turn it over and press the ink down onto the image as it was.  I then went back in with a sponge and added more color where it was needed.  Once it dried I diecut the heart around the cup and hoped it up with foam adhesive.  I stamped the heart and sentiment with a kraft ink onto the Kraft cardbase.

Oh, and I almost forgot I added a spritz of shimmer, simply because I like it! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

July 11th Crafters Companion is on HSN

YAY!!!!  It's getting closer to another fun filled day on HSN July 11th with Crafters Companion, and I can't wait!  For now I have the pleasure of sharing peeks of the new products in use, and let me tell you there are so many new goodies it'll be hard to narrow it down.  You can see the products now by going here.  Today I'm going to share a card I've created with the new Spectrum Noir Colorblend Pencils that will be available in sets of 12 with a dvd, and there will be a blending kit that you can add on, as well as the Spectrum Noir Premium Pencil Paper Pad.

To make this card even easier to put together I used the Crafters Companion 30 piece Card Blanks, that are amazing and come with matching envelopes!  These will be available on HSN too!  The floral images are from the Colorista Stamps Collections.  For added shine I've used the Luxury Cardstock in Silver.

These pencils blend beautifully, and all of the colors mix so well between both sets of 12.

Make sure you join in on the Crafters Companion HSN party on Facebook for more peeks, prizes, and fun!

A Muse Studio Sneak Peek Day 3

And I'm back with day 3 of sneak peek week for A Muse Studio.  This also happens to be the last day for peeks, because tomorrow the entire release goes live for your shopping pleasure! YAY!!!  Today we are showing the Dear Friend Stamp Set and the new Paper Tapes...

This card is great for today, because it just so happens to feature both new products!  To create my background I layered strips of the Paper Tape diagonally before die cutting it with the Postage Stamps Die Set.  I had stamped the floral and leaf images from the Dear Friend Set with Grass Pigment Ink and Hibiscus Pigment Ink.  I added some cute Cherry Blossom Sequins, and Creative Candy Pretty Pearls in Sugar.

Make sure you head of to the A Muse Studio Blog for more peeks at these new products, and you might find a giveaway too!

A Muse Studio Sneak Peeks Day 2

I'm back, woot woot!  And it is time to share some more sneaks of another new set making it's debut in the A Muse Studio Store this Friday!  Today's set is called Banner Sentiments, and it is exactly what you think it is...

The Banner Sentiment set also has a matching die set, and three different banner styles for displaying the sentiments.  On the card up above I went for a more masculine feel with a mix of the Melon, Mermaid and Grass colors.

Supplies Used: MelonMermaid and Grass Cardstocks, Hexagon Background Set Stitched Circle Windows Die Set, Banner Sentiment Set and Die Set.

I have also created a mini plant holder of sorts with the smaller sentiment floral banner image...

Isn't it so cute and little?!  For this little holder I've used the Tiny Popcorn Box Die, Banner and Sentiments Stamp Set and Die, Creative Candy Pretty Pearls: White, Petite Gingham in Bubble Gum Cardstock, and Grosgrain Stitch Ribbon in Bubblegum.

Make sure you head over to the A Muse Studio Blog for more peeks and a giveaway!

A Muse Studio Release Sneak Peeks Day 1

It's sneak peek time with new A Muse Studio Products that will be available this Friday, yay!!!!!  I love when I get to share peeks at their new products, and this month will have floral lovers dancing (hint hint!).  Today we are sharing peeks at the new set called Summer Blooms.  This set also has matching dies!

In this first card I chose to mix the Summer Bloom Set with the Hexagon Background and Bee Happy Stamp Sets.  To do something different I created an Easel card, and love the way the inside hexagon image fits perfectly as a resting point for the front panel.  I also went completely girly and made everything pink!

Full Supply List for this card includes: Petite Gingham Bubblegum, Hexagon Background, Bee Happy Stamp Set, Cotton Candy Dye Ink, Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Creative Candy Pretty Pearls: White, Summer Blooms Stamp Set and Dies.

And here is one more card featuring the Summer Blooms Stamp Set...

This card shows lots of the floral images available in this set as well as the sentiment.  I loved watercoloring this panel of stamped flowers, and decided to make the sentiment pop by stamping it onto Grass Cardstock.

Full Supplies: Cotton Candy Cardstock, Grass Cardstock,  Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, Creative Candy Pretty Pearls White, Foam adhesive, Summer Blooms Stamp Set.

Make sure you head over to the A Muse Studio Blog to see more peeks at this new set and for a chance to win the new set for yourself!

MarkerPOP Challenge #123

Hi!  It's time for a new challenge on the MarkerPOP blog, and this month there is an awesome prize pack that includes the Penny Black Summer Fun Paper Pad, Avery Elle's Cool Treats Stamp Set, Sunny Studios Perfect Popsicle Set and Distress Oxide Inks in Worn Lipstick and Broken China.  I'm totally jealous!  So I hope you'll play along!  Here is the inspiration picture...

And here is how I was inspired...

I went super CAS with this card and simply layered die cut panels up with various levels of foam adhesive.  I stamped, colored and added some Nuvo Glitter Drops in White Blizzard on these cute little stars from the So Jelly Stamp Set by Lawn Fawn.  Something I like about this card is that it can be used for multiple occasions.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I hope to see you join either of the challenges this month on the MarkerPOP Blog!

Fourth of July Decor with ADORNit!

As time is just flying by I figured I might as well try to be a little ahead of the game.  Every year I wish I had a little more 4th of July decor, but the holiday seems to always sneak up on me and catch me by surprise and without any new decor.  But not this year folks!  I've already created a cute sign that I can't wait to hang up!  With a mix of an ADORNit Bare Wood Plaque, one of their Watercolor Coloring Book Minis, paint, and glitter I was good to go...

Isn't it just so fun?!  I love how quickly I was able to put this together.  To create this decor piece I painted the whole front of the plaque with white paint.  Once this was dry I used washi tape to mask off some stripes.  I then went over the stripes with red paint and left this to dry.  While this was drying I began watercoloring the sweet July Calendar Girl page.  Next, I went over the plaque with some glitter and a star stencil.  The edges were painted with blue, and once again set off to the side to dry.  After everything was set I was able to glue on a ribbon for hanging and viola!

I hope I've inspired you a little with what you can do with a blank canvas!

Crafter's Companion on HSN JULY 11th!!!

Hello! It is almost the weekend, and it's going to be a busy but fun one here in my household. Lots of baseball, family time, and checking out the Pete Rose Statue my Dad's company played a big part in making (with Pete Rose of course hehe!)... Any who, today I'm popping in to share some more fun news, if you haven't seen it already, that Crafter's Companion is coming back to HSN on July 11th! YAY!!!  And of course they are bringing another phenomenal day full of amazing, fun, and innovative new products! Here is a peek at something I've been creating with these new goodies...

This Mixed Media piece was created with the new Sheena Douglas Time Traveler Dies and Stamps.  I love all of the intricacy in the stamps, and the facts there are matching dies that also leave embossed details is just the icing on the cake if you ask me!

Make sure you join the release party of FB by clicking here.  This will get you set up for inspiration, peeks, and giveaways!  Plus you'll be a part of an all day Facebook party on July 11th.
